This pattern is designed for use with 2 skeins of our Superwash Merino Wool Resilient Sock yarn in colorway: SAFFRON. Choose any colorway you like, though!
Pineapples upon pineapples upon pineapples
•A more advanced pattern for those comfortable with crochet. If you're familiar with working pineapples, this pattern will be a breeze. If not, you'll learn something new!
•This forms a triangle shape and can be worn in multiple ways: as a traditional shawl wrapped around your shoulders or like I've shown in the photo, as a bandana/cowl.
•You really don't have to worry about running out of yarn because the design is a repeating pattern. Just stop when you decide you're finished and work the edging rows and you're done!
•Picture tutorial included for EACH row so you're never left in the dark, scratching your head in confusion.
•Ideal for solid or tonal yarns, but hey, go wild and crazy if you want and use a variegated. Life is too short for holding yourself back from your greatest desires!
•You'll need a size E (3.5 mm) hook. You'll want to be comfortable with single, double and triple crochets, as well as chaining and slip stitching.
You'll receive a digital file only (instantly downloadable as a PDF) and won't be shipped anything. Please allow a few minutes for the download link to be emailed to you. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, just log into your account on our site and you'll see your Completed Orders. From there, you'll find the download link.
Enjoy your Adeline Shawl!

I fell in love with this pattern the first time I saw it. I consider myself a beginner-intermediate crocheter and the instructions were clear to follow and understand. The finished project is simply beautiful. I find myself coming back to this pattern over and over again.

I made this in Black Orchid and it is gorgeous! This was my first "pineapple" and I was so excited to do it. The pattern is easy to follow and as others mention, it works up faster than you would expect. You will love it!

The pattern is lovely but I didnt expect it to be 16 pages long! I'm glad I printed it in greyscale As I would have run out of coloured ink with all the photographs. A chart would have been more helpful and intuitive.
I am enjoying crocheting the pattern. I ended up making my own notes for the repeat rows but I memorised them pretty quickly. I can't wait until I am finished to I can show it off :)

This is a great pattern and once you get the hang of it before you know you are almost complete. I will be making a bit much of these for gifts and to sell

I found this pattern to be very easy and one I have finished quickly. Once you get the rhythm down, you are done before you know it. I'm making these for my coworkers for the holidays.

Although I usually only knit, I do know how to crochet. This is one of the few pieces that I might try to make. It's a beautiful pattern.

I was so excited to find this pattern as I had been trying to find the PERFECT pattern for a Christmas gift for my niece. As her name is Adeline, I had to snatch this up as soon as I saw it. I started it last night and I'm blown away by how quick and easy it is working up. I'm excited that I won't be in a crunch trying to finish right before Christmas! Thank you!

This shawl is gorgeous, as the weather has become cooler this is the perfect combo piece. It can wrap around as a scarf (as illustrated in image) and can be taken off and wrapped oner shoulders to add a little extra warmth if needed.
I added a few extra rows, to increase the size so I could wrap around my shoulders. Many compliments and making one more for my mom.

The color is awesome. The texture is like butter.

I'm making this shawl in cotton yar and a 3.5(E) hook .
See it in Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/amayita/adeline-shawl
This shawl is very easy to make, the pattern is clear. It works up pretty fast, and once you get the hang of the repeat rows you can put the pattern down and just crochet away.
The pictures were very helpful, but I missed a chart (that's why 4 stars and not 5). At times I really needed to see the pics in order to know what to do where, but that's my visual way of learning :)
All in all, a very satisfying project, thanks for this pattern!

I have to be honest in that I have not made this yet, but I am itching to make one for me and for some holiday gifts. It is so pretty and looks so feminine. I have always wanted to try to crochet the pineapple pattern and it looks so nice in a shawl. Thanks again for sharing such a pretty pattern.

Lovely pattern, can't wait to finish it!!

The pattern was so easy to follow and like the description says you don't have to worry about running out of yarn. You can make it as long or wide as you want. One of my duaghters likes shorter shawls and one likes theirs longer. They are both very tall so I can't wait to see how it looks on each of them Christmas morning!

I'm enjoying this patten emensely. I'm half way thru it and it's working up so quick and beautifully. It has been a good refresher for the pineapple pattern. It's one I'll definitely be making again and again.

I got this pattern and afterwards noticed that it's crocheted. I don't crochet.....I knit!!
I may give it to my cousin, she does everything. I still love the shawl and gave it 4 stars anyway......It's still beautiful.

I've just started this pattern, but already know how well written it is. As always, Chand brings me well written patterns for beautiful things

I chose this pattern because of the pineapple construction. I haven't rec'd yarn yet, so I haven't started it yet. I can't wait to start.

I love it. Very soft and comfortable. Easy pattern and so showey ( funny word oil know but it means I get a lot of comments on it) when you wear it.
