Yarn made from banana plants! The fibers are processed, dyed and hand-spun into this silk-like shiny yarn. 

Each skein WILL BE very different. We'll randomly select skeins for your order but will try to match skeins as closely as possible. Please order enough to complete your project. 

This yarn is dense and rope-like (similar to our sari silk yarn) and resembles shimmery bamboo or silk yarn.

•You could make this into baskets, coasters, bowls, rugs or other household accessories. It would be great for various types of decoration. 

•This COULD be made into wearable items, but it's not a squishy yarn like wool or acrylic or other yarns you may be used to. It's very dense and firm, almost rope-like.  Boot toppers would be cute. Try making a headband! A purse or grocery sack would be fantastic. A hat? You betcha. Try making a scarf or cowl!

If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row.
