CHILLED - frosty, icy, palest blue silver with glimpses of ivory. Use this color to knit our Josephine scarf/shawl.
YARN - Superwash Merino Wool Silk Pearlescent Worsted - (50:50) Smooth with a gorgeous gleam. Sure to be a favorite!
MERINO WOOL is ultra soft, creamy to the touch, cloud-like and breathes so you stay comfortable and cozy. We had these spun with a very fine merino wool so it's incredibly soft and wonderful for next-to-skin accessories and garments. It has a lovely stretch and "memory" so it's a breeze to create hats, mittens, sweaters, socks, boot toppers, blankets and virtually anything else you'd need some elasticity and bounce for.
MULBERRY SILK is a dream... it glows and gleams and takes the dye so well, that the colors just pop like crazy. It also contributes to the lovely softness.
~When you combine these two fibers into a single ply yarn like this, you get subtle differences in tone as the wool and silk take the dye slightly differently. The colors truly appear to be iridescent and other-worldly.
•1-ply : For ultra shimmer and glow!
•Worsted Weight: Ideal for next-to-skin accessories or sweaters, sweet baby items, blankets and so much more. Great for all skill levels, even beginners as it's a popular worsted weight thickness.
•Superwash Merino Wool - Mulberry Silk blend (50% of each) - hand-wash only for best results. Super soft like buttah, with a shine that just won't quit.

Chilled pearlescent worsted
This is my first time working with EFA pearlescent worsted yarn. I love the silky squishiness of it, but don't love working with it. The fibers are very clingy and "grab" other fibers which makes correcting mistakes a task in patience (more than usual!). I was disappointed when I wound this yarn to find 2 hanks with knots tied in them. Ihave never had this issue with EFA before. That being said, I reached out to customer service and received a response very quickly along with a credit so a big thank you for outstanding customer service!
Pearescent Worsted
I'm holding the "Chilled" with 3 different North DK yarns to create an icy blue sweater. So far the swatch is beautiful and hubby can't wait.

CHILLED SUPERWASH MERINO SILK PEARLESCENT WORSTED
The color is just what I expected. Reminds me of winter, cool gray white with a touch of blue. It truly has a pearl like glow to it! Would make a beautiful scarf that would go with everything. I however bought it to make a decorative throw. I make them in different colors for different seasons. This is going to look great on my black leather curved sofa along with a red ready made velour one. Hoping I have enough left from the throw for a cowl. I can't say how much I love pearlescent worsted yarn. It feels so soft and great to knit with.
