This pattern is designed for use with 2 skeins of our Luster Sport Yarn in colorway: Kitten. Choose any color you like, though. You'll need a US Size H hook (5 mm).
About this wrap:
•I wanted this wrap to be your go-to accessory…that piece you reach for when nothing else will do.
•The subtle textures reminded me of a dried creek bed, with polished rocks and smoothed surfaces.
•The classic gray color matches nearly any outfit and the simple textures won’t compete with other patterning.
•Wear it as a scarf or wrap around your shoulders on those chilly nights walking down a cobblestone street or when in an air conditioned cafe sipping hot chocolate.
•This piece is enjoyable to crochet since just when you’re getting bored with one texture, you switch and begin working another. It’s finished with a simple border.
•It’s quite easy to adjust the size as well! Make it wider or longer if you prefer. Now be off on your grand adventures of life!

Enjoy your crocheting!
Love the simplicity of style and gentle drape of this scarf/shawl! Think this is going to be my first Christmas project! :-D
I'm only giving this a 4 because I don't currently Crochet, but when I learn, I want this to be my first project. It speaks to me. It's lovely. And it looks like I'll be able to learn a lot of different Crochet techniques all in one piece, but it doesn't look TOO complicated.
I love it, It is so pretty. Thank you so much.
I love this pattern so much! It turned out wonderfully and I feel so beautiful wearing it!! Thank you for creating it, Chandi!!!
This looks to sleek and sophisticated yet simple and elegant too, I'm having a hard time deciding what color to make it.
Haven't made it yet, but have every confidence Chandi has created a gorgeous shawl
Haven't tried to make it yet.
I always love Chandi's patterns and yarns and this is no exception. A little more explanation of the stitches used and a count for some of the rows would be helpful.
Hello! While I love the variety of incorporating 3 different stitches into this piece, the instructions could use a little more detail. For example, a stitch count on each row would be helpful, especially since turns in this piece are critical to keeping a straight edge. Also, the Herringbone Double Crochet Stitch (HBDC) could use more detail description as well. When the HBDC instructions say "making a ch st." it is unclear what this means. And the final sentence of "yarn over remaining loops on hook" should specific how many "remaining loops" there are on the hook b/c the 3rd sentence instructions to "yarn over and draw through first st AND first loop on hook" is unclear b/c there are two stitches on the hook and if you draw through the "first" one then you are skipping a stitch on the hook - which is an exceptional approach in crochet - a picture would be great here! Love the color selected for this piece and look forward to completing it.
