KITTEN - warm gray
YARN - SUPERWASH MERINO TENCEL BLEND (50:50) - The glow of silk, with a lower price tag.
Everyone that sees and feels this yarn base LOVES it and exclaims how beautiful it is.
Shimmering and soft and ideal for virtually any type of accessory from head to toe.
Use it to make blankets too! And sweaters. Baby items would be awesome and super cute as you can machine-wash this yarn.
The squish factor is sure to please!
•An easy-to-work with sport weight yarn. I'd classify it as a thinner sport weight or a thicker fingering weight.
•Yardage: 361 m / 395 yd
•Weight: 4 oz/113 g
•Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 3-5
•Crochet Hook Size: D-F
Note: Each skein is a hand-created, unique work of art and no two skeins will be identical, even within the same dye lot. If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row. Despite every effort to accurately depict our product colors, actual shades may vary due to differences in monitor settings.
I was nervous about purchasing this yarn, as I have used low-quality wool yarns before and have an allergic reaction, but I decided to purchase a couple of skeins and give it a try. I am so glad I did! The yarn is soft, and knits up beautifully. And no allergic reaction! I am absolutely hooked. :)
I love the texture and color but am just a little confused about the weight...it is labeled as sport weight but is exactly the same in appearance and St / Inch as several of other yarns in my stash, that are fingering/sock weight. I'll absolutely have no problem using it but not for what I had planned this time!!!
This yarn is a dream! Making the knitted baby blanket and everyone is jealous it is not for them! LOL! Guess I'm gonna be pretty busy!
This is my first purchase from EFA and I am definitely very pleased with the quality and luster of this yarn. The color is rich and a little darker than the picture, but that is probably because of my iPad's bright display. I ordered Lichen along with Kitten, and the colorways are stunning together. I can't wait to knit this up into a sweater. =)
I am using this in combination with Java and Lichen to make a sweater and warmer tones look better with my skin tone. There aren't many "warmer tone" gray colors out there so I am excited to find one!
I have just started a pullover for my husband. (Ann Budd's Goatherder) It is wonderful to knit with and is looking great so far. I have to reserve that last star until I see how it wears once I finish the sweater, but so far I am very happy with it.
