STERLING SILVER SUPERWASH MERINO SILK PEARLESCENT WORSTED

$30.00

STERLING SILVER - shimmery semi-solid silver gray

YARN - Superwash Merino Wool Silk Pearlescent Worsted - (50:50) Smooth with a gorgeous gleam

Sure to be a favorite!

MERINO WOOL is ultra soft, creamy to the touch, cloud-like and breathes so you stay comfortable and cozy. We had these spun with a very fine merino wool so it's incredibly soft and wonderful for next-to-skin accessories and garments. It has a lovely stretch and "memory" so it's a breeze to create hats, mittens, sweaters, socks, boot toppers, blankets and virtually anything else you'd need some elasticity and bounce for.

MULBERRY SILK is a dream... it glows and gleams and takes the dye so well, that the colors just pop like crazy. It also contributes to the lovely softness.

~When you combine these two fibers into a single ply yarn like this, you get subtle differences in tone as the wool and silk take the dye slightly differently. The colors truly appear to be iridescent and other-worldly.

•1-ply : For ultra shimmer and glow!
•Worsted Weight: Ideal for next-to-skin accessories or sweaters, sweet baby items, blankets and so much more. Great for all skill levels, even beginners as it's a popular worsted weight thickness.
•Superwash Merino Wool - Mulberry Silk blend (50% of each) - hand-wash only for best results. Super soft like buttah, with a shine that just won't quit.
•Yardage: 201 m/ 220 yd
•Weight: Approximately 115 g / 4 oz
•Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 6-10
•Crochet Hook Size: G-J

Note: Each skein is a hand-created, unique work of art and no two skeins will be identical, even within the same dye lot. If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row. Despite every effort to accurately depict our product colors, actual shades may vary due to differences in monitor settings.

Silver yarn
4 Stars

Pretty yarn, not quite as shiny as I'd hoped (the copper has a great sheen!), but it still reads as silver. I've been collecting one skein each of the "metallic" yarns you've been creating in hopes of making a mixed-metals scarf. Now that I have 4 types (copper, bronze, gold, and silver) I need to find a pattern worthy of these "precious" metals. Any suggestions? I love your creatively dyed and named yarns, keep up the great work!

Gorgeous

I bought this yarn to make the swirling sea cowl. I fell in love with the color on my screen and it's even more beautiful in person! Can't wait to finish the cowl!
