This pattern is designed for use with 2 skeins of our Alpaca Silk Dk yarn, in colorways: First Frost and Icing (1 skein each). If choosing not to stripe, 1 skein total will make the hat. Choose any colorway you like, though, or any Dk weight yarn.
Through January 19th, use code: wonderland15 for 15% off 2 or more skeins of ANY Dk weight yarn (yes, you can also use our Dewy dk yarn base to make this hat).
Frosty and Fun!
•An advanced beginner pattern - nothing too complex here.
•Light and airy with surprising warmth from the alpaca.
•Soft and slouchy style.
•Speedy to make and give as gifts.
•One size available, which fits most adults.
•You'll need a size H (5.00 mm) hook. You'll want to be comfortable with basic crochet stitches.

This hat was very easy and I made it in record time. So love it.

I used a slighy bulkier yarn, and then HDC 2 stictches together every 8 stitches on the ha5 band to tighten up the hat. I am very happy with how this came out!
