Notes From the Designer:
•Adalia, means “noble one." As I was swatching for this design, I couldn’t help but see a regal crown. Its crescent shape, rows of eyelets that resemble little diamonds, larger clusters representing faceted jewels, all finished off with a scalloped border. Worked in Ephemeral Fingering, the little strand of Lyocell adds shine, completing the image.
•This crescent shawl begins with a few stitches in the center and rapidly grows outward. It is comprised mostly of rows of double crochet, occasionally interrupted by rows of single crochet eyelets and double crochet clusters. There is some flexibility here, where the crocheter may eliminate or easily add more eyelet pattern rows. Yardage estimates are provided for each color section, so that the pattern is also adaptable to the desired number of colors.
•This pattern uses nearly all of the skein of color A. It is very important to check that you are working to gauge, so that you do not run short. Approximate yardages for each section are as follows:
#1 (470 yds), #2 (50 yds), #3 (75 yds), #4 (65 yds), #5 (330 yds), #6 (200 yds)

I am writIng about the adalia shawl. The directions are so easy to follow and the matching yarn is so luscious to feel and to work with. Give them both a try, you will enjoy it.
I wish Chandi would do a complete video of the patterns and not just little pieces. For a person like m who does not know how to read patterns is very difficult, however, I can follow her instructions.
A beautiful shawl that I look forward to making soon. Time is not on my side right now but the colors of the yarns are wonderful. Please continue to create the beautiful colors that you make. Thank you.
