Notes From the Designer:

Adalia, means “noble one." As I was swatching for this design, I couldn’t help but see a regal crown. Its crescent shape, rows of eyelets that resemble little diamonds, larger clusters representing faceted jewels, all finished off with a scalloped border. Worked in Ephemeral Fingering, the little strand of Lyocell adds shine, completing the image.

•This crescent shawl begins with a few stitches in the center and rapidly grows outward. It is comprised mostly of rows of double crochet, occasionally interrupted by rows of single crochet eyelets and double crochet clusters. There is some flexibility here, where the crocheter may eliminate or easily add more eyelet pattern rows. Yardage estimates are provided for each color section, so that the pattern is also adaptable to the desired number of colors.

•This pattern uses nearly all of the skein of color A. It is very important to check that you are working to gauge, so that you do not run short. Approximate yardages for each section are as follows:

#1 (470 yds), #2 (50 yds), #3 (75 yds), #4 (65 yds), #5 (330 yds), #6 (200 yds)

This is a beautiful garment, the pattern is easy to read, admittedly you need a good knowledge of the stitches, but it's doable for even a beginner l think.

Great pattern, I’m just getting to the end of section one. I found a typo in row 6. You should end with 48 dc. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

You've made my day with this gorgeous pattern! I really love crescent & half circle shawls & was thrilled to see this beauty being offered. The pattern itself is not difficult & the finished piece is simply stunning.
