The sample shown was made with our Weekend Hues kit and used approximately 950 yds (869 m) total: Color A: 310 yds (283 m), Color B: 330 yds (302 m), and Color C: 310 yds (283 m).

If those colors aren't available, any from this category will work.

HOOK:

US size 7 (4.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge - NOTE: Some crocheters have run out of yarn when making this shawl, so we suggest using a smaller hook (G/4.0mm) or (F/3.75 mm) hook if you feel that you might run out of yarn.

SKILL LEVEL:

Adventurous Beginner - For those crocheters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches and skills include chains, single crochet, double crochet, and carrying yarn up the side.

Notes From the Designer:

Adamas stands for “diamond," or more specifically, "unconquerable" and “indestructible.” This shawl starts from the top center and spreads out to the bottom. The diamonds in this pattern are created by making chains to form gaps in the fabric in a diamond pattern. All of the stitches used are simple, beginner stitches, which makes the Adamas shawl perfect for a beginner who is looking to try a more challenging pattern.

Stitch counts are given at the end of each row.
Single crochet stitches in the lace section are worked into the chains, not around.

Lovely Shawl but not enough yarn!

Is a simple & beautiful pattern, however I’m disappointed the recommended yarn pack is not enough yarn to finish the project, have you changed yarn base and not adjusted amounts required? It’s not easy to buy an extra skein as I’m in Australia. Would have been nice to know this and I would have ordered more or different yarn.

Absolutely lovely pattern. But yarn usage estimate is off? I bought 100+ yards extra but still couldn’t finish the last row. Other than that, I really enjoyed this pattern.
