SIZE : Approximately 7" x 68", blocked.

MATERIALS: 2 skeins Expression Fiber Arts Superwash Merino Silk Pearlescent Worsted yarn (220 yds/201 m). Shown in colorway: Glimmer. If that color isn't available, any shades from this category will work. Feel free to substitute any worsted weight or dk weight yarn you love. Yarn is held double throughout the project. If you prefer to hold the yarn single, opt for bulky yarn.

NEEDLES: US Size 13 (9.0 mm) straights or circular.

•Need a last minute gift for someone? This is the scarf pattern for you! Arklund is a simple yet elegant knit that works up quickly with worsted weight yarn held double on large needles. 
•The repeating texture pattern is simple to remember, but keeps you engaged, and also makes a great unisex piece. Knit this one up for all the guys and gals on your winter knitting list!
•Works great with solid colors and variegates; stay subtle with a nice neutral, or go wild with color to brighten up someone’s winter. 
•Easily adjustable for length and width, so you can customize this piece to your heart’s content. Make a longer or shorter scarf, or widen it into a wrap! Just make sure to plan your yardage accordingly, and alternate hand-dyed skeins as necessary.

This pattern is an awesome, quick and fun item. I needed a last minute Christmas gift & am still a beginner in knitting. I used some stash yarn and the recipient loves it! Yes, she opened early. Anyway, thanks so much for giving us some fun beginner patterns Chandi!
