Love this! I made my first headband! Thank you so much Chandi :)
I love this simple pattern and guide :) Thank you for your generous offering Chandi!
Sorry, I meant to rate it 5 stars, I made a mistake on my review. I loved it!
I'm not a beginner but I like some TV watching friendly patterns! Quick knit but so stylish!
I started this and almost finished it in one day.I am a little compulsive when I start something. Readily adjustable for other head sizes
I can't tell you how much I love this pattern. I just started knitting this past week and for a newbie like me it was very simple to follow. I didn't have to worry about switching to a purl stitch or slipping a stitch or anything. It was very simple and basic. I loved it so much I did some baby size ones for a friend who was a new grand baby. .
So I love the way this looks online and on Chandi. However, I'm rating it 3 stars because the sizing seems off. I measured my head ahead of time and it was about 21", so the 19" length in the pattern should have worked. However, the headband is too big, by about 1.5". It doesn't fall off, it would just look and feel better smaller. I also find this a bit too wide, and that's with a tighter gauge that made it right around, or just over 2.5". I might still come back to this with some tweaks in the future, because it was so easy and fun to make. I also like how it looks here and in real life, just not on me. One fun thing, I added some beadwork to the small piece, and that makes it even prettier. Just wish it fit better for me!
I'm a beginner and knitted this for a friend's daughter. It was a real quick project, just a couple hours, and she loved it. Thanks so much!
I just took up knitting, and had barely learned how to cast-on, when a friend asked me to make a headband for her. All that's required is to know how to cast on, do the knit stitch, and how to bind off! Works up very easy. As one of the kids would say, "easy peasy lemon squeezy"! Plus, it looks really nice when it's finished.
I wanted a quick pattern and this one fit the bill. thanks
I made 4 of these out of one ball of wool which I loved to knit with. Thank you so much for this beginner pattern. I have much more confidence in my knitting now.
Love it. It's so cute
I absolutely love this head band!
Great quick beginner project. It's super cute too!
So glad to have found this website!
I am a very beginner knitter and this was my 3rd project. I found it very easy to understand and simple to do. I finished it very quickly and I absolutely love this pattern and will be using repeatedly.
Your creation is quite stylish and lends itself to multiple forms of embellishments. It is simple yet elegant. It is suitable for everyday wear yet would be adorable in a glitzy silk blend yarn for evening.
I really enjoyed doing this headband. Being a beginner, Chandi made this fun and easy.
This is a great pattern for an adorable headband! I love it!

Fun to make and cute to wear.
Very nice pattern. It is just what I needed for my two granddaughters learning to knit.
