This pattern is designed for use with 12 skeins of our Superwash Dewy Dk yarn in colorway: Still of the Night. You can really use a variety of yarns and gauge is not crucial to this project.
The yarn is held triple throughout the project to make a chunky, cozy look.
Size: Approximately 47" tall x 52" wide.
You'll need US Size 17 (12.0 mm) circular needles.
Notes From the Designer:
•Whether it's for yourself or someone else, a handmade blanket is a gift of love. It takes a lot of time and patience to create a blanket, even when the pattern is relatively simple, as with the shifting rib pattern of this blanket.
•This blanket pattern is for you...something you can enjoy knitting through the winter (it'll keep you warm while you're working!).
•Take your time with this pattern and enjoy the act of creating something for yourself or someone dear.
•With yarn held triple throughout, this project will move quickly. Plus, if you knit from 3 separate skeins at a time, you won't have to alternate every few rows; the yarn will blend itself!
•Pattern is easily adjustable! If you want a wider or narrower blanket, adjust the number of stitches by a multiple of 4 for the main body. For a longer or shorter blanket, just stop knitting the body pattern whenever you like and move on to the border. (If you want a larger blanket, you will need more yarn than specified in the pattern notes; please plan accordingly.)

I love this pattern! I haven't had a chance to make it yet but I'm sure it will be a joy.
I love this pattern for the ease of it. It was easy to memorize and work up while reading or watching something.
I bought this blanket pattern but have not knitted it yet. I have a huge stash of yarn so I'm sure I'll be able to find something in my stash to use.
Nice and easy pattern, fun to do.
