Chances and Lucky Horseshoes were my inspiration for this shawl. Life is a big game of chance, full of choices to be made everyday. For me, a chance meeting during an early morning walk led me down a path of true happiness with my best friend, love of my life, and very supportive husband. Life gave me another chance when we built our family through adoption. I took more chances when I made the decisions to be the first in my family to get a college degree and then to go on to get a master’s degree. I love all of the chances I’ve been given in life, including the chance to design and work with my favorite yarns.

Gorgeous pattern!
I loved knitting the Chances shawl. The lace is easy enough for a beginner and looks beautiful once blocked. The garter rows are a nice break between lace sections. I found the pattern to be well written. Chandi includes a row tracker at the end which was very helpful.
Chances pattern
I love the looks of this pattern and am currently studying pattern diligently 'til I have confidence to start (I'm just a beginner). I love EFA's patterns and yarns and find Chandi inspiring.
Chances
Chances is a pretty and delicate shawl. The alternating garter and horseshoe knit pattern makes it a quick knit as one wants to move to the next portion quickly. It is an interesting pattern that ends in a delicate and versatile garment.
Chances
Chances is a pretty shawl, easy to work up and enjoyable too. The little lacy bit makes it an interesting knit and the alternating garter and horseshoe stitch help make it a quick knit as one wants to move to the next part. The shawl itself is versatile and stylish.

I purchased this pattern and didn't realize it is knit. I don't knit so until I learn that skill I won't be making it. However if I hear of someone wanting a knit shawl pattern I will send them your way as you have such beautiful patterns.

Possibly the loveliest pattern you've created yet!
Chances - Looking Good!
I haven't had an opportunity to work up this project yet, but I'm really looking forward to it! I love the lace - it's so beautiful! And this pattern encourages me to step outside my comfort zone and knit with contrasting color ways. It's beautiful - as soon as I've worked it up, I'll post with photo(s)!
