SKILL LEVEL:

Adventurous beginner: Skills/concepts include simple increases and decreases, color changes, and a special pattern stitch.

Notes From the Designer:

A concatenation is a series of interconnected things or events. A simple stockinette base gains interest when worked on the bias. To achieve this angular look, increase one stitch at the beginning and decrease one stitch at the end of each right side row. Introduce the next color in the sequence with delicate stripes created by interspersing slipped stitches with double increases that are then gathered back together on the next row.

  • Click the Videos tab to watch a tutorial of this pattern! *Pattern note: We showed slipping with the yarn in back, but the pattern states to slip with yarn in front. Either will work! If you want the look shown in the sample, slip with yarn in front.

  • The pattern width can easily be adjusted by CO an even number of sts.

Pattern Discrepancies
3 Stars

On Rows 5 and 6, the written pattern says tom do a WYIF before slipping a stitch purl wise. The video DOES NOT have this WYIF before a stitch purl wise. Do you proof your video and PDF instructions before posting? This is my first Fiber Arts pattern I have knitted and I would like this to go smoothly. I wonder how many other discrepancies I will find further into the pattern instructions.
