100% satisfied with the way the pattern is written. Very clear (even though I had never worked a llpi before) instructions and not overly wordy. I'll be sure to post the finished shawl when I get it completed! Thank you!
This is a very pretty shawl but as a relatively new knitter I’m having a hard time with the fingering weight yarn. Is there another type of yarn I could use for this pattern and if so what would you recommend (and what size needle should I use)?
i did this in a striping yarn. at first the stitches used seemed unusual to me and i had to learn to really keep track of incr and then decr. After the edging , i loved the ruffle so much, i put edging on the top side also. It is so gorgeous, esp with the subtle texture on the main body. (my husband calls this my cinco de mayo shawl) love and learned so much xxx ooo
My mother's name was Della - a southern belle from KY and so I had to have this pattern in memory of her. It reads nicely and will start on it as soon as I complete the Date Night shawl. "Saturn" and will probably use that yarn for this shawl. Thank you once again Chandi for your inspiration from your yarn to your patterns.
This shawl would be gorgeous knit on any of the colorways offered on this site. Can't wait to try it!
I haven't put yarn on needles yet for this one, but I read through it and am anxious to get started. Looks like a fun pattern to knit, and the finished product will be beautiful in Chandi's Gold yarn.
Love this pattern! Yarn in hand will start today! Thank you!
The pattern is an easy follow. I haven't begun to knit it but I have reviewed it! Thanks for sharing the pattern!
This looks so fun to knit. The directions are clear and well written.
Great to wear on any occasionn and pattern welll written. Well done Chandi!!
I haven't started knitting this pattern, but I can tell that it will be an enjoyable knit. I am also sure that the style will make a nice gift for one of my friends.
I really like the clean simple pattern and lines of this shawl---less is more. Looking forward to knitting it and wearing it.
Gorgeous shawl which I hope to knit as soon as I finish a couple other projects.
I haven't made this yet but I have picked out the yarn and hope to get knitting on it in the next few weeks
I haven't made this yet, but the pattern is beautifully written and easy to follow.
The Della Shawl is amazingly simple and yet unique. I love all of Chandi's patterns a lot. I will be delighted when I get a chance to work this pattern up.
Started on this project. Haven't gotten very far but so far I'm loving it
Lovely pattern, but instructions are a little confusing to me. Will try to figure it out because I really want to make it!
