This fun knitted meditation pillow pattern is designed for use with 7 skeins of Pearlescent Worsted yarn; shown in colorway: Frozen Heather.
SIZE: 25" x 25" x 5"
NEEDLES: US Size 6 (4.0 mm) 32" circular or straight needles
Also needed: Polyfil or bean bag filler to stuff the pillow.
Notes From the Designer:
•This pattern is worked as 2 large squares and a long skinny rectangle, which is used to seam the squares together and add a little depth. I liken it to the pillows I made in Home Ec in high school when I was learning to sew. You can stuff it lightly, or go crazy with the Poly-fil for extra cushioning!
•I went went a smooth stockinette for the large squares, because texture under my bum would drive me crazy when I'm trying to zone out and relax. I didn't deny my love of texture entirely, however; the side piece is knit in garter stitch for just a hint of something different.
•I've been watching a lot of Absolutely Fabulous lately, and when I started thinking about the squish squish factor of this pillow, I knew I had to name it after Edina. I was also thinking about the time she goes to a retreat to find herself and falls off a stool at the first session. She probably would have managed much better with this fabulous floor cushion!

Easy knit! Intended to be a puppy bed for my chihuahua friend
As always, a stunning pattern and well written.
I love this! I can’t wait to make it!
I got the pattern for me and my cats took it over. Super simple to make and simply beautiful
I always find knitting to be calming. So when I started making this for my daughter, to help her have a calm space, I thought it could not be more perfect. I have not finished yet, I am a slow knitter, but it is has been a simple pattern to follow and I am enjoying it very much. Thank you! ☺️
This fun pattern looks like a great one to make. I like the smooth design of the top and bottom, with interest added on the sides. It will make a great gift for the kids and grandkids!
