Description

This pattern is designed with Pearlescent Fingering yarn (550 yds/503 m each). Shown in colors (Soul-Searching: Color A) 1, (2, 2, 2, 2, 3) skeins and (Shiplap: Color B) 1, (1, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins. If those colors aren't available, any shades from this category will work. Choose any fingering weight yarn you love!

SIZES: 35" (38", 42", 46", 50", 54") bust, sized to fit with 0-2" of positive ease. Shown in size 35” on a 33” bust.

NEEDLES: US Size 4 (3.5 mm) 16" circular needle to complete the neck, and circular or straight for working the pieces.

This is an intermediate pattern with various things going on at once, so you'll want to have a good grasp on knitting to make this pattern.

Notes From the Designer:

•A short-sleeved sweater makes a great piece for transitional weather. V-necks are flattering on just about everyone, so you don't have to worry about an uncomplimentary neckline with this one, and can just enjoy the knitting! Stripe two or more colors for a fun, preppy look, or stick with one color that can be worn with anything. There are plenty of ways to make this pattern your own!
•There is no waist shaping for this pattern. Knit the size closest to your normal bust size for 0-2" of positive ease. If you want a more fitted look, try going down a size. For a looser fit, knit one size larger than normal.
•One of my favorite books is Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I named this pattern after the two eldest Bennet sisters because I feel like it combines Jane's sweetness with Elizabeth's "take no prisoners" approach to life. I've also been itching to name something Eliza Jane for awhile.
