This pattern is designed for use with 3 skeins of our Alpaca Silk Dk yarn, in colorway: Pewter. Choose any colorway you like, though, or any Dk weight yarn. Our alpaca silk dk in particular creates an elegant drape that is hard to beat. It just feels luxurious draped over your shoulders and puddles and cuddles you!
Luxurious. Comfy. Versatile. - "It's like wearing a cuddle!"
•This poncho is crocheted in a rectangular shape and then seamed together using the Flat Slip Stitch Join.
•A special feature of this shawl is the popcorn stitch creating interesting columns connected with a web of chains and double crochet stitches.
•It feels like you're wearing a hug. You'll want to wear this beauty everyday!
•You can wear the longer point in the front or shifted to the side, depending on your height and style preference.
Notes From the Designer:
•My inspiration for this pattern is my love of culture and architecture. I have always been fascinated with the columns used in Greek and Roman buildings and wanted the design to showcase these columns. I am also enamored with language and the connections made using the Internet, so the 'webbing' between the columns is my interpretation of all the global connections I have made.
•You'll need a size J (6.00 mm) hook. You'll want to be comfortable with basic crochet stitches.

Enjoy your crocheting!
I am looking forward to begin this garment. At present I have two pairs of socks I need desperately on dpns. Once I get time and my feet are lovely and warm I will let you know how I went.
Picked up this free pattern to use for stash busting projects during COVID isolation and have just about finished the first one. Didn't use the recommended yarn or hook size so of course sizing is different. Having said that this pattern translates very well with variations to yarn. Only little criticism - not everyone in the world uses imperial sizes so please add metric measurements. Also could you please clearly state that pattern uses US terminology. I am pattern bi-lingual but lots of us outside the US are not.
Simple and elegant. I love your patterns.
Simple and elegant. I love all your patterns.
A lovely pattern that I will make soon but right now I have too many projects that I'm working on.
So very pleased. Thank you.
Another beautiful pattern! I like that they are written out so that I can easily follow. Someday I hope to be ahead long enough to purchase the gorgeous yarn that I drool over every time another color is presented!
I keep getting the best patterns from EFA. This one is really fantastic...Poncho or sweater...up to me. I LOVE IT!
I think this poncho has a more upscale and sophisticated design. This is a work in progress and I am enjoying crocheting it. The directions are clear and easy to follow. I love it!
I live this beautiful shawl pattern is on my to do list. Can't wait to make it.
Just started with a swatch, and the pattern worked up beautifully! Cannot wait to complete the project!
This is a lovely pattern. Your description of it as "wearing a cuddle" made me think of our prayer shawl ministry purpose. Thank you for this beautiful pattern

Looks easily adjustable for different sizes and not complicated at all. All expression fiber arts patterns are so different and stylish, I love them
