I love this pattern. It's so easy to follow and looks very nice. I'm excited to try it in other colors. I didn't use expression fiber arts yarn for it so if you want it to come out the same length as the pattern, follow the guage. I'm making mine in a cotton blend yarn. It's still pretty even if not as long as the updated version that is shown in the picture.

This pattern is absolutely lovely! I am hoping to start it after New Year's. I am making too many gifts just now, but after the Holidays, I will be making for me. That is if I have the baby blanket finished for my second Great, Great Granddaughter.

I am a always amazed by the stunning patterns and the gorgeous yarns. Expressionfiberarts is like a slice of heaven for crafter's like myself. The crochet patterns that I chose are a fusion between fairly easy and needing focus and the Harbor Cowl meets those requirements. Thank you Expressionfiberarts Warmest Wishes Karina Cliff

Harbor Scarf Pattern

I just love this scarf - I made it in Olive green Noro (Silk/Mohair/Wool) for a dear friend and she literally gasped when she saw it. :-) I plan to make at least one more with different yarn and color. I consider this a pretty easy pattern that yields an impressive and beautiful result.

Fun and easy
4 Stars

I just started this last night - only on row four but the instructions are easy to follow. I'm making it with one strand of Lion Brand Ice Cream as I wanted to try the pattern with a less expensive yarn first. I added about 30 more chains ( thanks for giving me the multiples - wish more pattern designers would do that) to get the size needed. I think this pattern will work up quickly. Then I'm going to try it with some more expensive yarn. Thanks Chandi.

Rocky Beginning for Harbor Cowl
4 Stars

I started this cowl 4 times and could not figure out why it didn't look quite right. I changed the first row from skipping 3 chains to 2 chains. Once I did this, the cowl took on a rectangular shape rather than rippling on the first round. It's a pretty but simple pattern that lies gently in folds around the neck.

This pattern is so easy, yet the cowl will be beautiful AND a very functional, versatile fashion accessory for the cooler weather that's coming just around the bend. I just ordered 2 luscious skeins (Blue Blossom and Lady of Shalott) for this project and I can hardly wait to see how it turns out : )
