Hello, Houndstooth

$6.00

This pattern is designed for use with 6 skeins total of our Luster Sport yarn.  Sample is shown with 2 skeins each of Peach Blossom Pink, Spearmint and Clear Sky Blue. The yarn is held double throughout the project, so another option is to use a DK or Worsted weight yarn and hold the yarn single-stranded throughout the project. This scarf looks fun and funky in multiple colors like shown, but would also be incredibly handsome and wearable in neutral shades. If using DK or Worsted weight, you'll still need 850 yards total, so for a 3-color scarf, you'll still need 2 skeins of each color/6 skeins total.

Why You'll Adore This Scarf:

•This scarf is knit in-the-round, as a tube shape so is thick and cozy and cuddly. You'll love it!

•Intermediate to advanced level. You'll need to know how to work fairisle (or be willing to learn), while holding the yarn strands double throughout the project. Challenging and fun and oh-so-worth it for this beautiful piece.

•To simplify, you can hold dk or worsted weight yarn single and stick with just 2 shades for the entire scarf instead of switching colors as shown. Your choice. How much of a challenge are you up for?

•A fancy fringe closes up the edges of the tube so it lays flat and stays put without curling up!
