Errata: Row 14 of Crown should read: *P2, K1, rep from * to end of rnd.
The yarn colors really pop with these stitches.
I’m a new knitter too, so this took me a few weekends to get. I enjoyed being able to learn several new things at once— following a unique pattern, circular needles, etc. without getting too complex. This is NOT a “knit for distraction” type of project... To get the pattern right, and to make the most out of it, use a solid color yarn or a yarn that transitions from one color to another, and pay attention to the pattern. I used a mixed-color type of yarn and the beauty of the pattern was a bit lost. Fun project, will probably make it again.
Loved making this hat! Great pattern, very easy to follow. I will definitely be making another one (or 4!) of these! Thanks Chandi!
I am a newbee knitter and not very experienced in knitting terms or knitting in general. I loved the pattern. I just started the decreasing section and all is still going great. I will post a pic once completed. Very easy to understand and makes a great pattern.
I made this hat on my long weekend away visiting the in laws it was easy enough to be able to visit and pick up and put down but interesting
This was a real simple hat pattern to make and one I may suggest my 4H kids class to consider making. It was a fun and quick knit with an easy to read pattern that gives the hat great texture and style.
The pattern is so unique and calls your eyes to look again.
Easy to read very adaptable as well if you wanted to go longer add more rows with the brim. Looks great in a solid color as well.
Easy to follow and will be used many more times to come..thank you
Simple pattern, looks great with every yarn, but I'll use smaller needles for ribbing.
I am a beginning knitter so this is on my wish list of things to try knitting.
Another great pattern and I love that it is unisex.
This is a fun and easy hat to knit. The pattern repeats are easy to remember and the size 8 needles make it quick. If you need a gift in a hurry this pattern is for you. The appearance of this hat can be changed by your choice of yarn colors, knit length and finishing options.
Lovely quick easy knit. Great item for first time knitting in the round, good clear easy yo follow instructions.
Very happy with my purchase, thank you. Sue
I will probably make several of these for gifts this year!
I really like to wear different hats and this pattern looks great. I have started the pattern and it is very easy to follow.
Great written pattern. Can't wait to start it with the new yarns I'm trying from EFA!!
Sorry, didn't get to try it yet, but is something to knit for my kids. Looks warm for them up north
I used Malabrigo Mecha on size US 9 signature needles. The hat came out beautifully. It's a great fit. Pattern very well written and easy to follow.
