MERINO WOOL is ultra soft, creamy to the touch, cloud-like and breathes so you stay comfortable and cozy. We had these spun with a very fine merino wool so it's incredibly soft and wonderful for next-to-skin accessories and garments.
MULBERRY SILK is a dream... it glows and gleams and takes the dye so well, that the colors just pop like crazy. It also contributes to the lovely softness.
~When you combine these two fibers into a single ply yarn like this, you get subtle differences in tone as the wool and silk take the dye slightly differently. The colors truly appear to be iridescent and other-worldly.
•1-ply : For ultra shimmer and glow!
•Fingering Weight: Luxurious, creamy, silky and luscious. Perfect for next-to-skin accessories like cowls, shawls, scarves, hats, fingerless mitts and so much more.
•Superwash Merino Wool - Mulberry Silk blend (50% of each) - hand-wash only for best results. Super soft like buttah, with a shine that just won't quit.

Note: Each skein is a hand-created, unique work of art and no two skeins will be identical, even within the same dye lot. If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row. Despite every effort to accurately depict our product colors, actual shades may vary due to differences in monitor settings.

Japanese Maple Hues
Beautiful yarn but still waiting for instructional video for Saiki. The pattern is the reason why I bought the yarns.
SO LOVELY!
Often when I order a yarn online the color that I get is slightly different than what I saw on my screen, but Chandi's yarns never disappoint! These Japanese Maple Hues are stunning! And the feel of the yarn gives me the same kind of comfort I get when drinking coffee. Now I just have to figure out the perfect thing to knit to do these colors justice!
SO LOVELY!
I am just SO in love with all of Chandi's yarn! The colors are stunning and wears with the same comfort that drinking coffee brings me! BUT when I saw this kit I simply HAD to get it! And I was not disappointed when it arrived. Often the colors are different from what you see on your screen but these Japanese Maple Hues were exactly what I had hoped for. Now the only pressure is finding just the right thing to knit to do these colors justice!
Love
The softest yarn ever!
kit
Not happy with my kit. I find the teal color poorly dyed, with large areas of white. I also would have liked the yarn labeled, so they corresponded to the pattern. Not sure how to organize the colors in the right order (or how the example was made). The colors are wonderful and the yarn has a wonderful feel. But I bought this kit to make that shawl and just wanted more guidance since some of the yarns are very close in color.
Maple Hues
While the colors are just stunning, the skinnier yarns are not so easy for me to knit. I like to participate in using the wonderful yarns, so my plan is to pair them and knit with 2 held strands together. First step is always knitting samples and playing around with pairings until I like the results. Then I’ll find a pattern or design one for this unusual color palette. The teal actually pairs well with the darkest red maple color with its teal accents! Fun fun!
Lovely colors
I bought this not for the fade MKAL, but to use 5 colors for Osmosis shawl and was planning on using the teal on its own. The colors are gorgeous, as always, but the teal and one next to it didn't quite blend. I am using the first 4 purple to gold, then using ephemera, for my shawl. The last 2 will be individual projects. Each hank is beautiful, but only giving 4 stars because the last 2 didn't really seem to fit.
