Any size that is appropriate for the yarn selected. Refer to the tag/label for the recommended sizes.

SKILL LEVEL:

Intermediate - This pattern is suited to the adventurous knitter with some experience in seaming (using crochet slip st, and the three-needle BO method) and working in the round.

Notes From the Designer:

As a designer, I love when ideas just POP into my head. This was one of those ideas. I originally planned to do one idea for the front panels; but as I was working out the details, the idea of overlapping them became more compelling.

I had worked with Resilient Sock yarn for a while, and it was calling to be made into something light, soft, and wearable--with a few quirky construction skills thrown into the mix.

The loose fit allows for it to be worn over another shirt on cooler days, or it can be worn by itself on warmer days. So much versatility in a simple sleeveless top.

  • This knitted sleeveless top is worked from the bottom up. The waist is knitted in the round, and the front and back panels are worked flat and then seamed.
  • There is a left front and right front panel that overlap each other with diagonal decreases.
  • The shoulders are seamed using a 3-needle BO. The sides can be seamed as desired, but CheVon used a slip st crochet st to join.
  • If wanting to add length to the pattern, work in plain stockinette st (without decreasing) after decrease section 2.
  • Perfect for wearing with jeans, skirts or dresses!
