My inspiration for this design (and name) is a character from the book I am currently reading. The character, Lilith, starts off in the background as a small character, but grows bolder and more confident as her story develops. Like the character, this shawl grows as you crochet and continue adding more yarn. Have a ton of fun with your shawl and be sure to link your finished shawls to the pattern Ravelry page so we can enjoy them too!

Designed by Kristina Smiley.

You'll receive a digital file only (instantly downloadable as a PDF) and won't be shipped anything. Please allow a few minutes for the download link to be emailed to you. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, just log into your account on our site and you'll see your Completed Orders. From there, you'll find the download link.

Enjoy your crocheting.

Lilith shawl
5 Stars

I’m a beginner with crochet so I asked a more experienced friend to help me choose a pattern. We hit a home run with Lilith. She’s a breeze and perfect for a first time shawl maker! I found the beginning instructions a little hard to wrap my head around but watching Chandi do it several times, trying, frogging, trying again…and I finally understood! Once you get the first few small rows done you just fly along. I will most definitely make Lilith again, next time as a gift.

I'm still a beginner crochet artist, so I decided to give this pattern a try. So as not to get in over my head, I used an inexpensive variegated yarn. The stitch pattern was very repetitive, and super easy! At first, I wasn't sure about it because the yarn that I used was kind of scratchy. Then I found a video that Chadi made for blocking the shawl. Since it was acrylic yarn, I just steamed blocked it, but now it is soft and lovely! I'm so proud of it! The variegated yarn made its own beautiful stripes, and I love it ans wear it all the time!

Love it.....soo glad I found Chandi on YouTube. The pattern and Chandis tutorial has made this a joy to work on, I've not completed the design but know it will turn out beautifully. I purchased the Pearlescent Worsted to do this project and have fallen in love with the yarn.

Love it....soo glad I found Chandi on YouTube. I've been crocheting for many years very basic patterns and when I saw the scarf it looked more difficult then it was. The pattern and charts were easy to follow. I used the Pearlescent Worsted yarn and it is beautiful.

Wonderful pattern and instruction. So want to buy your yarn but at $52 Australian, not happening. Went with an initial block of yarn and will add stripes as I go. But love the pattern - all other asymetrical triangles were banana shaped. Thanks for your pattern so easy to follow along with video.

Good repetitive pattern for travel
5 Stars

I like to have a straightforward, easy-to-remember pattern for when I travel. This is perfect. Repeating rows make it easy to find my groove mid-flight without constant counting or checking complex motifs.

Love the shape of this shawl and marvel at all the design ideas Chandi posts for us! Keeps one hoping and maybe I can make another of this one since the first one I made for me walked off with my granddaughter!

I bought this to make a gift for a friend who travels a lot. I thought this would be perfect when flying, something attractive and easy to keep drafts off. I have not settled on colors yet but I will be working on it in the next week or so.

I love the videos and find them fun to watch and instructive. I taught myself how to purl using the continental stitch watching one of your videos. Now I can easily complete my latest protect knitting with two yars! It was clear and easy to follow. And I love you energy and enthusiasm.
