LILO HUES - meaning a friendship that lies dormant for many years only to pick up right where it left off! This is a stunning gradient from sumptuous teal green through paler and paler silver gray tones. Luscious! It would make amazing gradient shawls, blankets, accessory sets or sweaters! Use this kit to knit our Mantlemist or Shifting Sands patterns or crochet our Trillium, Muisca, or Aurora patterns.
YARN: Luster Sport - 50/50 Superwash Merino Wool and Lyocell
Everyone that sees and feels this yarn base LOVES it and exclaims how beautiful it is.
Shimmering and soft and ideal for virtually any type of accessory from head to toe.
Use it to make blankets too! And sweaters. Baby items would be awesome and super cute as you can machine-wash this yarn.
The squish factor is sure to please!
•An easy-to-work with sport weight yarn. I'd classify it as a thinner sport weight or a thicker fingering weight.
•Yardage: 361 m / 395 yd (2166 m / 2370 yds)
•Weight: 4 oz / 113 g (24 oz / 678 g)
•Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 3-5 (3.25 mm - 3.75 mm)
•Crochet Hook Size D-F (3.25 mm - 3.75 mm)
Note: Each skein is a hand-created, unique work of art and no two skeins will be identical, even within the same dye lot. If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row. Despite every effort to accurately depict our product colors, actual shades may vary due to differences in monitor settings.
Love the way it drapes and the softness of the fibers
So soft, will be starting a project with it soon
I really like the colorway of this kit!
I purchased the luster sport in lilo hues. Love colors, the feeling of the yarn running thru your fingers is so soft. Plus, no spliced skeins.
I primarily purchased this kit to knit the mantlemist pattern. It's nice yarn, though I think the lyocell fibers in the yarn give me a slight itch (but 100% wool yarns do that to me too, so it's just a stray fiber thing and not a material thing). The colors look nice together and this may be common sense but after you wind up the current skeins you're using, label which is which color per pattern, haha. They are quite similar at the beginning which makes the fade even more fun.
These colors are giving to look fabulous together!
