Notes From the Designer:
Cuddle up with this blanket and a book on a rainy day, or make this quick and warm project as a last-minute gift or for a charity event. A larger hook with two strands of DK yarn held together makes this a quick, simple, and warm blanket pattern that is perfect for beginning crocheters. I love to crochet quick projects with thicker yarns or yarns held double and bigger hooks. Blankets usually seem to take forever to make, sometimes causing me to lose interest before I complete the project. This one was very quick and very fun for me to both design and crochet.
I like simple stripes and textures and included both in this blanket design. The center stripes are made using rows of crochet Griddle Stitch alternated with rows of double crochet. It is an elegant design that uses basic crochet stitches and features alternating stripes of textured and smooth stitches for an interesting blend of softness and style. Both sections are also reflected in the border to give the blanket the appearance of framed art.

This was a fun project. Loved the end result. Really turned out pretty
It is a great crochet project and well worth the time and effort as it is quite relaxing to work on and immensely satisfying.
Again, another EFA collaboration with a top class designer. Every pattern EFA gives away freely is a blessing to us all. I can't wait to get the shawl on my hook. Thank you Chandi for your dedication and your beautiful soul

This is starting out to be a beautiful lap blanket. Size us easily adjusted and it is fun and easy. It will take me some time but it will be worth it.
Always gorgeous pattern
Once again a pattern I could not resist. I wish I could knit and crochet as fast as I choose the next pattern I want to make.

Chandi’s designs are always easy to understand and undertake
What an easy pattern! It lends itself to many different sizes of yarn, works up very quickly & is a perfect TV watching pattern. I'm using a 2 strand acrylic worsted yarn (it's for a man who is not easy on blankets or clothes) & it is flying off my hook. Very happy with this pattern.
As soon as I saw this pattern, I knew exactly who I was making it for as a Valentine's gift. The pattern is so easy, works up very quickly while watching TV & lends itself to many sizes of yarn. It is perfect for a quick gift....for yourself or someone you love. Enjoy!
