Approximately 980 yards total were used for the sample shown.
Color A: 225 yards, Color B: 205 yards, Color C: 205 yards, Color D: 205 yards, Color E: 140 yards.
If not available, any yarn from this category will work.
NEEDLES:
Any needle size that is appropriate for the yarn selected. Refer to the tag/label for recommended needle sizes.
The sample shown was worked with US 7 (4.5mm) needle.
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner- For those knitters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Skills/concepts include: cabling and making beaded tassels.
Notes From the Designer:
•Mancrayca is a lovely rectangular wrap with two double cables running down the middle, making a great visual for the eyes. It is knitted with a luscious DK yarn that has a metallic thread running throughout. The metallic thread adds a glimmer and a twinkle when the light hits it.
•Small tassels accent the lower section of this wrap. These tassels have beads on each and add a 3D effect to this wrap. These tassels sweep the color hues in the opposite direction of the colors in the wrap. The edge design allows the wrap to softly sway and lay around the shoulders.

I made this pattern with a different DK yarn and without the tassels, and it was lovely. If I make it again, I would change the side border, because it curls a bit too much. The person who received it loved it even with a little bit of curling.

I love that the wrap is so versatile! I have been shying away from cable knitting as most designs appear complicated to do. While I haven't started on this project yet, I downloaded the pattern as the the cables look simple enough to do and there's a video to guide me through it. Thank you Chandi.

I love the size of this shawl. Not too wide yet not too narrow. The stitches and colors makes it stunning and the tassels add some fun. Can’t wait to complete mine!
