4oz/550 yd each skein. Colors come and go. Choose any you love! Between 200 and 225 yds of each color was used in the sample for a total of approx. 1100 yds.

NEEDLES: US Size 5 (3.75 mm) 32” circular needles or longer (for accommodating the larger number of sts)

Intermediate - This pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include: a beaded, fringed border; Kitchener Stitch seaming; and the beading throughout.

Notes From the Designer:

•The serene and earthy colors of the Mysa Hues kit are showcased in this ethereal, boho wrap that is light and airy and full of movement, sparkle, and shine. Undulating, striped sections of dropped stitches create a lightweight shawl that features a fun, beaded fringed edge, and rows of beads and multicolor knitting throughout.

•It's glowing and magical and can be worn as a wrap or used as a throw!

•This design is knitted in two pieces, which are seamed together using the Kitchener Stitch. You’ll begin by working the first beaded, fringed border lengthwise, and then this border is turned so that stitches can be picked up along its long edge. You’ll then work the length of the shawl. Once finished, these stitches are put on hold while you knit the second beaded, fringed border for the opposite side. Finally, these two pieces are joined together.

Kitchener Stitch video

Your video on the kitchener stitch is the best one I have ever seen and believe me, I have seen plenty! None of them gave me the confidence to tackle joining with the kitchener stitch, causing me to avoid patterns that called for it. But no longer. Your instructions are clear and easy. Thanks, Chandi!!

I am in love with this wrap! I just had to have the yarn bundle and the pattern right away, however, I am going to need to learn more about how to knit it. I would LOVE a tutorial for each row if possible. I'd be willing to pay for that lol. Either way, I cannot wait to knit and wear this gorgeous masterpiece!

This shawl caught my eye while I was 'pattern surfing' on Ravelry. A beautiful piece, not only for its gorgeous earthy colours but for the design as well. I just had to have it and I am certain that it will become a much loved and worn item when I have completed it. Thank you for your generosity in offering this lovely pattern as a freebie. Kind regards Sandi

I have not yet started this pattern. However, as an experienced knitter, I did look it over. It appears to be a wonderful pattern that will work up to be a beautiful shawl. I am so excited to get started on it.

Stunning combination of yarn colour with beading pattern. The colour matching is on point! Also the wavy drop stitch combined with the standard drop stitch pattern is what makes this wrap stand out :)

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL pattern!!!! I am working mine in the “Flame Dahlia” Pearlescent Fingering kit with Dyna-mites beads for the interior and Miyuki “fringe” (wide raindrop shape) beads for the fringe portions. (The whole shawl looks like flames...wicked cool!) The fact that this is free for a short time (and super inexpensive after that) is absolutely amazing!! It is also a testament to the value of this site and company. Any video tutorials are listed right on the pattern page, and they are always extremely clear, informative, and easy to follow. The ONLY drawback to this pattern is the lack of a tutorial on working the beads in the fringe sections. The wording is not incorrect, but it is also not at all easy to “picture” or follow if you’ve had no experience with it. Unfortunately there are no videos on any websites showing this method either. I had never applied beads to a fringe border like this, but because it looked so elegant and custom I definitely wanted to try. It took the whole project to another level!

This beautiful wrap is a joy to knit. It looks equally good in solid or variegated yarns, and I think will also be a great scrappy stashbuster too!
