First Fall Hike 'RESILIENT' SOCK

$26.00

FIRST FALL HIKE - when the weather starts to turn and the first hints of crispness linger in the air...you lace up your shoes and head out for that first fresh hike through the woods. The leaves crunch. The lake whispers as the geese honk overhead. We tried to capture that feeling in this colorway - dabbles of burnt leaf orange, sky blue, heathered raspberry and plum tones, pops of green and more.

•Perfect for hand-knit socks, shawls, modern baby clothes and hats, accessories, mittens, stuffed animals and anything else you can think of!!

"RESILIENT" SUPERWASH MERINO WOOL SOCK YARN - our signature sock yarn! After years of using various sock yarns, I had the mill spin up this custom yarn for us, which embodies everything you'd want in an ideal sock yarn:

•4-ply : Results in round, defined, beautiful stitches. The more plies the better for items that will get lots of wear like socks. Your projects will last and last with very little pilling, strand breaking or wearing thin.
•BOUNCE FACTOR - this yarn is BOINGY! It has a ton of memory, or "resilience" (thus the name), which is ideal for socks since it stretches but bounces right back to its original length. Perfect!
•Fingering Weight: Perfect for hand-knit socks, but also virtually any other accessory you want to make, like hats, scarves and shawls, mittens, including baby and kid items. Wonderful for sweaters and other garments or even blankets! Sock yarn is so versatile and well-loved by many yarnies.
•Superwash Merino Wool = super soft, super fine wool. No itchiness here! Machine-washable! Hand-washing keeps your items looking the best the longest, but no worries if your socks accidently get tossed into the washer and dryer. They'll be just fine and won't felt or ruin. Whew.
•Yardage: 366 m/400 yd
•Weight: 4 oz (approx. 113 g)
•Recommended Knitting Needle Size: US 0-2
•Crochet Hook Size B-E

Note: Each skein is a hand-created, unique work of art and no two skeins will be identical, even within the same dye lot. If working with more than one skein in a project, it is best to alternate skeins every other row. Despite every effort to accurately depict our product colors, actual shades may vary due to differences in monitor settings.

This yarn, like all Expression Fiber Arts yarn, is beautiful. I’ve never been anything but pleased with the yarns or the colorways. Something I do want to highlight here though is the outstanding care and customer service Expression Fiber Arts provides. It is and has been exceptional. Thank you so much!

I’m in love with this yarn. Ended up buying my skeins separately and the colors were true and blended throughout. I’m using it to make a shawl and I can’t wait to show it off!! I’m Officially spoiled Chandi! How will I ever go back to basic yarn?

As usual Chandi doesn't disappoint! This is yarn is gorgeous with its fun fall colors! My current projects are Doo Rags to donate to the cancer center that saved my husbands life. I think this skein will make a couple of beautiful "caps" for some folks who deserve some beauty in their lives! Oh and sorry if you missed the novelty button bonus, they are adorable! Peace and love
