MERINO WOOL is ultra soft, creamy to the touch, cloud-like and breathes so you stay comfortable and cozy. We had these spun with a very fine merino wool so it's incredibly soft and wonderful for next-to-skin accessories and garments.
MULBERRY SILK is a dream... it glows and gleams and takes the dye so well, that the colors just pop like crazy. It also contributes to the lovely softness.
~When you combine these two fibers into a single ply yarn like this, you get subtle differences in tone as the wool and silk take the dye slightly differently. The colors truly appear to be iridescent and other-worldly.

melody dora pearlescent fingering kit
The color of the yarn is beautiful. this yarn is so soft to the touch and has plenty of yardage. I can't wait to start working with it.
Beautiful yarns
My neighbor said, "Donuts!" Yes. The pastel hues of tempting donuts. It's soft, yet strong with 50% silk. These 3 banks of yummy hues yarn will eventually be my new sweater. I knit top down with circular needles. Still considering my pattern, but most likely will work in a few cable stitches or some leaves. Maybe add some Czech beads in the neckline. This will be a sweater to last the rest of my long life. Love it.
Melody Dora Hues 'PEARLESCENT' FINGERING KIT
Wow! The colors are amazing! I bought 2 kits to use the 2 lightest and darkest for the “Serenity Springs’ pattern. Now I’m going to use 1 of the skeins with my ‘Dahlia’ kit for the ‘Mysa’ shawl. The tones are all over the place....from deep pops of magenta-burgundy to bright fire oranges. Many of the areas that looked white in the picture are actually a very soft, subtle, hardly-there yellow. The skeins look like campfires. If you love warmer tones like me, this colorway is perfect!
Yarn
I LOVE this yarn base. These colors are beautiful and the feel of the yarn is so soft and drapey. I'm not sure what this yarn will become, maybe a shawl. Whatever I make, I'm sure it will be beautiful. I will be sure to share a pic.
