I’ve used Alpaca Silk DK for several holiday gifts over the last year or two, and I keep coming back for more! I’m not a huge fan of alpaca fiber for myself: the long fibers that tend to stick out make me a little uncomfortable. But the people that I’ve gifted finished items to really love this blend. It’s warm and very, very soft... and it has great drape even when one uses it for crochet items. The Pewter color is a lovely cool gray with a hint of shine from the silk fiber that makes it annoying to photograph, but beautiful in person.
