YARN: Superwash Merino Silk Pearlescent Fingering yarn (550 yds/503 m each skein). Shown in 6-skein kit: Japanese Maple Hues. If that kit isn't available, any 6 shades from this category will work. We used 6.1 oz/840 yd total. You can use fewer colors if you prefer or any other fingering yarn base. Lace or sport will work too!
SIZE: Approximately 73" width and 75" long after blocking.
NEEDLES: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 32" circular needles or longer to accommodate the large number of sts.

I love this pattern! There is just enough variation to keep it interesting while being a soothing zen like knit. I look forward to casting on soon and having a wonderful shawl for fall.
