Sail Into The Sunset

$0.00

This pattern is designed for use with 1 skein of our limited edition gradient sock blank colorway: Sail Into The Sunset. If unavailable when you click over, one skein of any fingering weight yarn will do the trick.

What Makes This Scarf So Cool:

•Looks gorgeous with gradient, solid or variegated yarn. The pattern is simple to allow the yarn colorway to do all the magic.

•Easy 2-row repeat ideal for advanced beginners and beyond. You'll need to know how to knit, k2tog (knit two together), purl, ssk (slip slip knit) and yarn over.

You don't have to worry about running out of yarn. Just stop when you're ready to be finished, bind off and voila. Done.

Size can be adjusted. Want a shawl? Just cast on more stitches and knit until it's the length you want! Want to use thicker yarn and larger needles? Go for it. Very adjustable and I describe how to do so in the pattern.

•Gauge isn't important. Yay! It doesn't matter if you "get gauge" on this one. It's a scarf so if it's a wee bit smaller or bigger than the sample shown, it's all good. It'll be your unique work of art.

•Wonderful for gift-giving. It's beautiful, elegant and who doesn't love a good scarf? The recipient is sure to be delighted.

It's FREE. Hurray!

It uses size US 3 (3.25mm) needles.

You'll receive a digital file only (instantly downloadable as a PDF) and won't be shipped anything. Please allow a few minutes for the download link to be emailed to you. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, just log into your account on our site and you'll see your Completed Orders. From there, you'll find the download link.

Enjoy your knitting!

What a pretty pattern! I love working with EFS patterns, they are well written and easy to follow. I was thinking of using the OCELLATED TURKEY HUES 'LUSTER' SPORT MINI KIT with this but may reconsider to going with a gradient as the pattern suggests. Whatever I decide, I know it will be so pretty.

Beautiful Scarf - Easy Pattern
5 Stars

I am a new knitter and have found the pattern very easy to follow. My only problems initially were trying to do it while watching TV - had to rip out and start over several times because I lost my place in the repeats and didn't know how to go back and fix them. Once I determined that I must focus when working on this one it is turning out beautiful! My daughter will love it.

gradients make it The best
5 Stars

i didn't get that this pattern is best with gradient color. then i did. i made it with a gradient of rainbow combined with black sequined yarn. i also like the way it naturally slants. i really like it ; and my knitting pals are very impressed with this pattern ;)

My First Knit Project
4 Stars

I wanted to make something as my first knit project, and I was looking for a pattern that was pretty but not too complicated. After many mess-ups of my own doing, I have finally figured out the pattern and I am even able to go back and unknit a mistake without pulling the whole thing out. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sides of the scarf are not identical. One has k2 and a gap, the other has k2 and a decrease section next to each other, then the gap. I don't *think* it is user error, and you won't really notice when wearing it, but I would prefer them to match.

This is a great and easy scarf pattern. I used fingering weight n added more stitches to make a nice wide scarf.
