Notes From the Designer:
Gauge is not crucial to this project, but may affect yardage and size.
Satis is a companion goddess of the Nile to Anuket, who inspired a knitted version of this crocheted shawl. This asymmetric triangular shawl follows the same gentle fade pattern, this time in rich, earthy colors of fertile soil ready for an explosion of floral growth. This pattern uses three colors, but never more than one color at a time. Color changes occur only at the beginning of some right side rows; carry the unused color up the edge with a simple twist.
Crocheted from the narrowest tip, each right side row begins with an increase of two single crochet stitches in the first stitch to create the shawl’s shape. The single crochet stitch body has a simple lace edging to keep things interesting while still being easy enough to crochet while chatting or watching your favorite show. A lace border that echoes the crochet-as-you-go edging completes the final border.

Satis wrap
I have not yet begun this project because I'm currently working with my local Lions Club in knitting or crocheting lap blankets for the veterans in our community. I look forward to creating something very beautiful with this pattern.
Good
I enjoyed crocheting the pattern
Love - takes some concentrating!
This pattern is beautiful. What makes it all the better is the gradient of colour. Personally I don't find it meditative (yet). I am 3 repeats into the lacy section. And finding it necessary to calculate and check the stitch count on EVERY row. It's very easy to miss a stitch with the combination of fingering weight yarn and large hook. However, it is very good for making you switch off from the world and quietly concentrate

My first shawl
This pattern is so easy to follow. I have never been brave to make a hat just by following a pattern before. I did it with the Satis shawl. I made it for my friend who is retiring after 31 years of being a nurse. I am so glad I made it because she loved it so much! This is my first shawl following Chandi’s pattern and it won’t be the last! Thank you Chandi.
I loved
instructions are clear and easy to follow

Satis
This beautiful pattern I purchased for my friend from childhood. I am making the knitted version ‘Anuket’ and though a thousand miles separate us, the idea is we can feel like ‘goddesses’ together again wearing our shawls!
Simply stunning
This wrap worked up quickly, easily remembered pattern which made it a joy to crochet. Thank you for another stunning piece of art ❤

Beautiful shawl. When done in green looks like a half of a Christmas tree.
Classic but casual shawl
The Satis shawl is simple to make and wears very well with either evening dresses or jeans. Looks great in any yarn color but my favorite is the original color. I love this shawl.
Easy pattern
I only had to follow the pattern twice and after that it was quite easily repeated. The end product is shaping up very well. Very clear and properly written pattern
