Notes From the Designer:

Storyteller is a simply timeless wearable piece designed with comfort in mind. This cardigan is knit from the top down with Raglan styling and seamless construction.

The main features of this design are the set-in pockets, trimmed edges using simple ribbing, and the huckleberry stitch pattern that is reminiscent of the Mark Twain stories that have been a part of early childhood reading memories for generations.

  • Gauge is VERY crucial to this project and should be worked in Huckleberry Stitch Pattern. Be sure to check your gauge often.
  • This pattern is worked flat back and forth through the yoke and body sections and then worked in the round for the sleeves.
  • Sample was worked in size X-Small.
  • Instructions for making the cardigan without pockets or adjusting the length are included in the Notes section of the pattern.
  • Click the Videos tab to learn how to knit two sleeves at the same time! Not required for this pattern, but fun to know!

I waited a while for the revised edition of this pattern to be available and also for the yarn, but so far it is knitting up really well. I am taking my time as I want this cardigan to look as good as the one Chandi is wearing, and so far so good.

I'm thinking that this will be a good pattern to use a tonal gradient yarn on.

They have the most beautiful yarns I've dealt with and offer so much assistance. Great service and follow up - best ever. Being retired, I've slowly been able to get back to the hobbies I love - which is like meditation to me, so calming. I have RA in my hands only but different techniques have helped me to move forward.

I have not started on this one yet. So if it is like all the other patterns, it will be easy to follow. I enjoy using any of expressive fiber arts' patterns. When you watch the tutorial on this one - the instructions are so easy to follow. If you are an experienced or beginner knitter, you can make this pattern. Also, don't forget to get the resilient sock yarn.

I absolutely love this cardigan, but there are just too many errors in the pattern that I have had to stop with the project. Would love to continue so hoping that the designer fixes them!

A lovely design, really straightforward. Easy to adjust the length. One of those designs you could do a few times - different colours and vary the length. A really good addition to the winter wardrobe.

It's a wonderful product and I tried the pattern in "Large". There is a mistake in the number of stitches. It only is correct if I start with 116 stitches in "Large" and not with 124. With this numebr 116 it's correct to increase 8 stitches each row. Thank you ! Your products are very beautiful !

I read on ravelry that there are errors on this pattern. I have only knitted a sweater once. Can someone please tell me what the errors are so I can fix? I am not sure if I would know. I am following the pattern for medium. Thank You, Linda

I noticed that every time I buy a pattern the review request comes immediately after. I am really not that fast at knitting or crocheting nor am I that quick at looking over the patterns, but I can say the pictures are gorgeous. Just a suggestion, maybe give a few weeks for us to have a chance to try the patterns. By the time I am done the review requests are lost in my email somewhere. LOL
