This pattern is designed for use with 2 skeins total of our Pearlescent Fingering Yarn. Sample is shown with one skein of Grace and one Eggshell. Choose any color combinations you like or use 2 skeins of the same color for a solid look.
More About This Shawl:
•Ume (oo-meh) is a Japanese plum. Plum blossoms are the first to bloom in the spring, sometimes blooming while there is still snow on the ground. Let this shawl keep you warm and effortlessly elegant while waiting for your own spring flowers to bloom!
•Intermediate level. Written instructions only.
•An elegant triangle shape is classic and easy to wear! Wear like a shawl or wrap around your neck and tuck in the ends for a more casual, kerchief/cowl look.
•Use 2 solid shades as shown, or opt for one solid and one variegated for more of a pop! Your choice.

as a newbie this is beautiful
I am a beginning knitter so I love the simplicity of this pattern and the challenge for a beginner.
I love, love, love, this pattern. The contrast in color and in the fabric it makes are so pleasing. I need to decide on the colors To use, and can hardly wait to get started on it.
I love love love this design, all of the Expression Fiber Arts patterns are well written and make beautiful projects. I haven’t decided yet which colors to use, but can hardly wait to get started on this one. I really like the contrasting colors, as well as the contrast in fabric it makes.
Emily's designs are always beautiful. This is an easy pattern to follow, I would encourage even beginner knitters to try it. Thanks for the beautiful pattern!
I'm a beginning knitter, so this is challenging, but I'm liking it!
All those beautiful pattern. Just have to decide which colours. Thank you for the beautiful pattern.
An absolutely beautiful and well-written pattern. So happy to have this one in my stash of patterns. Well-written, and appears to be a "go-to" pattern. I will enjoy making and sharing shawls made using this pattern. Thank you EFA for such beautiful patterns.
