Just downloaded and started this pattern with yarn I had on hand from Expression Fibers. This is going to be a great pattern that will allow color variations, different yarn weights. The great thing is the pattern is such that it allows your colorway to shine. It's a keeper!
I loved the colour combination for a new baby , unknown gender . It’s a nice pattern too .
Love this pattern! It is so easy to follow! I am a beginner knitter and really enjoyed making this!
I absolutely love this pattern. It is so simple to follow and works up quickly. I can't wait to finish it off to give as a shower gift and make my next one!
It is knitting up beautifully. Thank you
I'm halfway through this blanket and it looks nice, but I had to make adjustments to the instructions that I'm a bit surprised no one else has mentioned. The big one was that ending the stockinette section after row 29 caused my work to get turned around (as it would, since it's an odd row). I ended it at row 28 instead and it came out fine. But if you're new to knitting and not familiar with how to count rows to keep your work from getting reversed, it will totally throw you off and you won't know until you're on the second section of stockinette (so too far in to want to start over). This also prevented my color switches from showing up at the front of my knitting, instead of in the back where it belongs.
I purchased this pattern last week and have finished the first set of colors. The pattern is clear and easy to follow and it is true that it's pretty easy to memorize, even for a fairly new knitter. Love it!
I was looking for a pattern for a baby blanket that had a little character and alot of style. I wanted stripe in the color and I wanted texture. This blanket covers it all. Plus - it's an easy pattern. This is going to be my go-to baby blanket pattern. I'm tired of basket weave patterns. This one is clean and modern. Can't wait to get started!!!
This pattern is amazing! It makes a lovely birthday present. I gotta say that LOVED even more the yarn tote limited edition that I got with this pattern. I use it every day ☺
Love the pattern and the yarn is beautiful. I did find some of the pattern directions to be a bit confusing but I'm a novice knitter so maybe it's just me. My question is about rows 17-29 which are repeats of rows 15 and 16. It turns out that row 29 is row 15. I Guess I just assumed it would end up on row 16. I have emailed Chandi asking for clarification so hopefully I'll hear from her and be back knitting soon.
