Notes From the Designer:

Villiers is a simple triangle shawl with basic crochet stitches and subtle color changes. It is crocheted from the top down using the magic ring method to begin. This shawl is perfect if you are looking for a quick and easy project.

•Sir Charles Villiers Stanford was a composer who blended the romantic style with his Irish roots to create masterful pieces full of elegance and simplicity. This composer was my inspiration for this shawl design. I wanted a simple structure with elegance and style. The alternating rows of basic stitches and the repeating color pattern provide these elements, while also allowing you to be creative with the size and length.

•It would make a lovely design for road trips or crochet night with friends! It's easy to memorize.

•Choose to work a 3-color gradient like we did or go for stripes, a solid or use a variegated yarn.

•No worries about running out of yarn - just stop crocheting when you like the size or when you use up all of your yarn.
