This patterns is absolutely suitable for beginners: only knit stitches and simple increases and decreases. The description of the patterns is well done. The two rows are repeated in the respective thread color. The color change is also explained. And the additionally available video complements the instructions wonderfully. The angle, which is caused by the increases and decreases, ensures an extraordinary look and the scarf becomes an eye-catcher! I have reworked this pattern with a yarn in solid colors and a yarn with a rainbow gradient (with fingering weight yarn). However, I had to adjust the number of stitches significantly due to gauge in order to get the same final size.

I love this pattern. It's great for a beginning knitter like me. I bought some yarn without a plan for it and this pattern was a perfect way to use it. I'm so happy with the infinity scarf that I made.

Such a great and well written pattern. As with all carefully thought out EFA projects, whether you're new to knitting or have experience, the projects are interesting enough to keep you moving through.

Whirlwind Scarf
Loved this pattern. Made one in black and white and one in turquoise and sand beige. Made it a bit shorter, wraps only once around my neck. Will try with fingering yarn as well.

Love this patterns, made one in black and white and now doing one in turquoise and sand beige. I made it a bit shorter so it only wraps once around my neck. It's a fabulous pattern, will try it with fingering yarn as well.

I am loving this pattern. As a newbie into knitting, this is easy to remember and is turning out wonderful. I recommend it to anyone wanting a scarf.
Whirlwind Scarf
Very easy and fun pattern. I memorized it after a couple of rows. I'm using a repeat of six colors in autumnal shades, two row repeats each. It's fingering weight so I doubled the cast on stitches. Can't wait to wear it this Fall.

I enjoyed making this scarf -- I put tassels at the two points to dress it up. It's very easy and pretty. But I had a big problem with the sides rolling in. Any suggestions to prevent that?

This is such a cute easy project to "whip" up. I love easy fun projects that don't require a lot of brain power. I just started making this scarf but it really is a easy project. No counting except your cast on's. I can sit in front of the tv watching my favorite post season baseball team and still be productive. Perfect project for me. If you're on the fence about starting this project...jump off the fence and get your needles!
