Notes From the Designer:
•The Faie Sweater features lace panels on both the front and back sides, as well as beautifully textured and billowy bishop sleeves. Knitted in the round from the bottom up, this fitted design offers a romantic silhouette. The front and back are split at the armholes, and the remainder of the bodice is knitted flat in two pieces. A three-needle bind-off is used to re-join the shoulders before stitches are picked up at the armholes to knit the sleeves. Finally, stitches are knit together at the wrist to create the ribbed cuff, and a decorative seed stitch border is added to the neckline.
•This piece is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The front and back are split into two pieces once you reach the armholes, and the two pieces are then knitted flat. The front and back are then joined at the shoulder using a three-needle bind-off. Instructions for this technique are included in the Finishing Section. Stitches are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are knitted in the round before switching to a smaller needle size for the cuffs. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline, and a border is used to finish off the piece. Charts for the lace sections are included at the end of the pattern.
•Adjust the neck opening by working more of fewer rounds.
•Click the Videos tab to watch a tutorial of this pattern! You'll learn to work most of the stitches plus how to pick up stitches from the body for the sleeves.

Bobbin Winder
Fantastic! Works beautifully. Fits bobbins for weaving and my spinning wheel. Nicely compact to fit on the shelf when not in use. Well made from quality materials. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Questo pattern mi è piaciuto molto e ringrazio per averlo messo a disposizione.
First Light Pearlescent Worsted
The turquoise and gray of the January colors were my choice. I knitted a Bridger Cowl pattern to coordinate with a winter vest I often wear. The yarn was silky, shiny and had a beautiful soft drape. It is not a yarn you want to frog, however, because frogging causes fuzziness of the strands. When I finished knitting the piece, I carefully trimmed off the fuzz to create a smoother looking finish.

This is an absolutely gorgeous sweater! The pattern is well written, easy for even a beginner to understand. It is way beyond my current knitting skill level, I'm a newbie, but this is one of the patterns that inspired me to learn to knit! All of their patterns are beautiful!

A lovely pattern; the instructions are nice and clear, easy to follow, plenty of detail - very thoughtfully put together. The charts for the lace are easy to follow, too. It'a a really striking design, very individual and the different textures take it to another level.

I just want to say a word about the pattern charts. I am an experienced knitter, so when I review a pattern chart I am looking for a blueprint of what I will be working. Most charts leave a lot of info up to the reader to make notes or remember. These charts are extremely easy to follow. I do not have to remember if I am on the right-side of the work or the wrong-side. I do not have to remember if the square with dot is a pearl or a knit stitch dependent on the side I am working. Ms. Wesley has provided a complete package of instructions. I know when I am working row 1 the square with dot is a pearl stitch and on every other row it remains a pearl stitch. Kudos to you Ms. Wesley for allowing me to enjoy the process of knitting this beautiful pattern!
Stunning
Love the stitch combination and the color shows the stitches off so nicely. Just beautiful.
