Notes From the Designer, CheVon Bell:
•Rudaba is the name of a princess from Persian mythology. She is said to have lowered her tresses to allow for her lover to climb up to her. The cable that runs down the spine of Rudaba is reminiscent of a braid.
•It’s worked like a triangle shawl, but its center is six stitches wide rather than the traditional 1-3 of a typical triangle shawl. It is worked with a slightly modified garter tab cast on.
•Click the Videos tab to learn how to work the cast on and the body stitches!
Enjoy your knitting!

Fabulous!
Great pattern! Video is also very clear & helpful.

This was an easy to follow pattern, and the end result turned out nice. The cable in the center was easy to do, particularly with the explanation Chandi gave in the video. I used yarn that I already had. I decided I would buy yarn from Expression Fiber Arts after I completed the shawl, so that kept me motivated to finish. And, I did order from the yarn club for December.

Very cute shawl, love the braid down the back. Your videos on starting, cable and bind off make it super easy.
Simplicity at its best
I've been looking for a shawl pattern to use some sport weight yarn, something that would show the yarn and not to too busy but had a little stylish element - and then entered this pattern! I'm yet to make it but have read it and as with all other EFA patterns, it's so simple and logical to follow that I know I can do it. Also, when I have had questions in the past, I've gotten a very fast response to my email.

Thank you so the pattern. I am still trying to choose my colours. I have spun some fibre that will look so nice knitted up into this shawl. So exciting. Hard part is picking the colours.

Thank you for another beautiful pattern. I haven't made it yet, but it's in my queue. It seems to have has just enough challenge to keep the project from getting boring during the making process.
