ABOUT THE PATTERN:

A basic, ultra-easy, beginner scarf pattern that works for men or women.
You'll need to know how to cast on, knit and bind off. Even if you don't, I provide links to my video tutorials, so even those new to knitting can make a scarf.

ABOUT THE YARN:

YARN - DEWY DK WEIGHT - 70% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 10% Silk

This yarn is sumptuous. Ultra-soft and squishy, and sure to be a favorite. Machine-washable, with a hint of "dewy" glow from the silk and strength and longevity from the nylon. I had the mill spin this custom yarn to these exact specs so you'd have a versatile DK weight yarn not only beautiful to look at but also delightful to work with.

•4-ply : This produces a round, plump yarn, for beautiful, defined stitches!
•DK Weight (stands for Double Knitting): This weight of yarn is thinner than worsted weight and thicker than sport weight. It's incredibly versatile and can knitted or crocheted into an endless number of wonderful items. All types of accessories from head to toe...sweaters are amazzzing... soft, cozy, long-wearing afghans, and loads more. This yarn is ideal for baby items too, due to the softness and ability to be machine-washed.

First successful knitting project

This scarf came out gift-worthy! Thanks to the bamboo needles included in the kit, I discovered that I'm not as bad a knitter as I thought. My mom taught me how to knit (English style) using slippery aluminum needles. I bought the kit to try Continental style, because Chandi makes it look so much easier. Turns out I don't need to change style. I just needed bamboo or wooden needles, and inspirationally beautiful yarn to motivate me. Took a star off for the kit assuming one knows how to wind yarn from a hank into a cake or ball. No instructions are provided, so you're on your own there. I already crochet, so that wasn't a problem for me. The yarn has so much painterly character, even though it's one color.

My first knitted pattern - so easy and fun!

If you watch the video, you'll immediately learn that Chandi is funny and goofy, which makes learning fun and easy going. Watch till the end for her bloopers hahaha I'm a visual learner so the video was good to have. Super easy pattern -- used the yak sport as my yarn :)

Received the kit nicely wrapped with little goodies. The yarn was nice and bright as shown on the website, yellow, and the softness is unbelievable. I will be ordering other colors as I build my supply.

I am a self-taught crocheter, and had recently thought about learning how to knit. I bought this kit with the Dauntless Dragonfly yarn. The yarn is absolutely beautiful and the knitting needles in the kit are wonderful. The instructions are perfect and had me knitting in no time! :)

The cutest and the best

I finally finished my scarf and looking forward to learning more. Everything was perfect. With the instruction you learn one stitch which helps getting your tension right. I've been a crocheter for 27 yrs. Been thinking if I should start picking up needles and figured if I couldn't get the hang of it well, nothing would go to waste lol. Her videos did help. Perfect gift or a try out item...

I am a beginner knitter and have been using other brands of yarn, but I have to say after knitting with the yarn I purchased from you I'm a little spoiled. It's so soft and shiny and the color waves are absolutely beautiful. I would like to purchase them all! I just about have my scarf made and can't wait to wear it. I will be buying more yarn in the future. Keep doing what you do best. You certainly have an eye for yarn and color. I also want to say that your tutorial is what helped me learn to knit. I watch them a lot, super easy to follow. Thank you for the beautiful yarn I can't wait to purchase more!
